The Live Gaming Summit starts next week, September 27th, at the five-star Miramar Hotel in Barcelona. The annual event attracts professions from various sectors of the gaming industry including online casino operators and software developers. The event is a chance to celebrate and explore in the depth the rapid growth of internet gaming, particularly the live dealer games segment.
Willem van Oort, an iGaming Consultant, and Thierry Ranner, a Live Gaming Market and Consultant, are the key organisers behind the event. Oort has also organised Gaming and lotteries in Holland while Ranner has previously worked with Evolution Gaming and Betsson Group. Between them they have 30 years of experience at the highest level in the industry.
Playtech and NetEnt are among the sponsors for the event with Sam Brown (NetEnt head of live casino) heading the specialist keynote speakers that include Jonas Delin (Managing Director of Authentic Gaming) and Kevil Kilminster (Playtech Live Casinos Innovations Head). Between them, Playtech and NetEnt are the developers some of the biggest and most popular online casino games available right now.
This year’s keynote speakers are expected to discuss a number of topics that effect iGaming in the current climate such as the popular live streaming of games from land based casinos, the future of live casino, television gaming as well as any other questions from the floor of guests in attendance.
On the exposition floor, for many the most exciting part of the entire event, a number of global suppliers will provide an exclusive sneak peek of some of their latest products and technology including live demonstrations.
A major part of the event will include the showcasing of products designed for live dealer games, a rapidly developing market within online gaming. Evolution Gaming are pioneers of the movement and will present their latest technologies to benefit the market for both players and operators.
