One of the world’s biggest providers of online gaming software, Microgaming, has announced that London-based programmers Gamevy are now a part of its ever-growing Quickfire platform – and the meeting has been hailed as a “perfect partnership” by the casino reviews community.
Gamevy has long been renowned for developing exciting, popular and fun to play instant win and skill-based titles which offer an alternative to traditional casino games. Many of the titles the developer offers draw inspiration from classic TV quiz shows like “The Heist” and “Games of Fortune”. The air of familiarity combined with an increased level of interaction has made these games an instant hit with online casino players, offering them a level of gameplay previously unavailable at most sites.
Many a casino review will attest that Microgaming and its Quickfire platform offer some of the finest instant win opportunities across a variety of online casinos. These games in particular have proved popular with players who aren’t up to speed with how to play traditional slots titles, instead focusing on intuitive gameplay and interaction – these games offer a personal touch as players get a chance to bet on a particular set of numbers (many players in fact choose numbers which they feel are ‘lucky’).
What does the partnership mean for Microgaming?
As a young development team, Gamevy is bringing something fresh to the plate, and Microgaming aren’t the only gambling platform to recognise this. Gamevy scooped the Pitch ICE 2015 Winner award and built on this by also winning the “Game to Watch” category at this year’s Pitch ICE ceremony.
When asked to comment, Quickfire’s head Tom Chamberlain acknowledged this, stating that Gamevy’s output is “fresh and exciting”, adding that the main focus of Microgaming and its Quickfire offshoot was to offer players “unique and differentiated content”.
With that in mind, it’s easy to see why welcoming Gamevy on board makes a lot of sense. Fans of instant win games can already enjoy titles like Diamond Deal, Boss the Lotto and Epic Gems, whilst looking forward to a host of new and exciting games in the future.
